Criteria for the award included: knowledge/expertise in the law, customer service and satisfaction, communication with clients, value for fee charged, follow up with clients after the services provided and clients willingness to refer to others. A blue ribbon panel of experts in the industry assisted in the final selection process. Recipients of this award represent less than 2% of all those providing similar services. 

Attorney Prue has an extensive background in legal matters dealing with wealth management. He served 20 years as a probate judge for the District of Windham before retiring to concentrate his law practice in the fields of estate planning, Title 19 asset protection plans, wills, trusts and estate settlement. With his knowledge and experience, he is considered to be a leader in all matters related to estate planning, settlement and probate.

Attorney Prue has lectured extensively throughout Connecticut on behalf of the Connecticut Bar Association, Probate Administration, Connecticut Dept. of Social Services, Connecticut Paralegal Association and the Institute of Public Information. He has presented educational forums at the request of The University of Connecticut, Eastern Connecticut State University, Manchester Community College and numerous civic and private groups.
